In plain English
We collect the details you give us to quote and deliver freight, use them only to run that service and meet our legal duties, don't sell your data, and let you access or correct it. This section is a summary; the policy below governs.
Frostac Pty Ltd (ABN 44 687 896 206), trading as Quick Freight Line (“we”, “us”, “our”), is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
The Information We Collect
We collect personal information you provide when you request a quote, make a booking, contact us or use our website, for example your name, business name, job title, email address, phone number, pick-up and delivery addresses, and details of the freight you ask us to carry.
How We Collect It
We collect personal information directly from you: through our quote and contact forms, by phone and email, and while arranging and delivering freight. We may also collect limited technical information automatically when you visit our website (see “Website analytics and cookies”).
Why We Use Your Information
To quote and provide freight and logistics services, communicate with you about your consignments, manage our relationship with you, meet our legal and compliance obligations, and improve our services. We do not sell your personal information.
Disclosure
We may disclose personal information to third parties who help us deliver our services, for example subcontracted carriers, depots and IT providers, and where required or authorised by law. Where we engage others to move freight on our behalf, we require them to handle personal information consistently with this policy.
Storage and Security
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure, and retain it only as long as we need it.
Accessing and Correcting Your Information
You can ask us for access to the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate. Contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Complaints
If you believe we have mishandled your personal information, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. If you are not satisfied, you can lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au (opens in a new tab).
